We are going to hold another event of the Regional Student Convention on March 31, 2021.

At 10 am (MT) we will have Russian Brain Ring for Senior category.

At 11 am (MT) we will have Listening Comprehension for Senior category.

Each participant must work from his/her personal device and must be able to listen and watch the video provided.

Each participant must write his/her name and surname, school and city on the registration form. Unnamed results will be disqualified.

You will have limited time to write the test.
Each participant takes the test only once. If there is an attempt to take the test again, only the first result is going to be accepted.
The results will be automatically sent to the organizers’ email addresses.

At 12 am we will have English Brain Ring for Senior category.

The Convention is moving forward!

On March 17 we had more competitions of the Regional Student Convention at the International School of Tomorrow.

Junior Category students participated in the Russian and English Brain Ring. Through zoom students from ISOT (Moscow), Gymnasium # 94 (Ekaterinburg), Vesnushki school (Minsk) answered the questions from national and School of Tomorrow programs. It was a fun learning experience.

So who won? We already know it and will officially announce the results at the Award Ceremony in April 2021.

Listening Comprehension Junior Announcement

Dear Colleagues,

Moreover, thanks to the ISOT participants from Vietnam, Zimbabwe, The USA, Uganda, Nepal, India, Azerbaijan, Cameroon, South Sudan, Taiwan, Afghanistan, Turkey, Nigeria, Iran, Philippines, Namibia our convention has officially become international!

We will hold the Brain Ring events via a ZOOM conference. The exact time in each category will be announced later.

Each participant must have a personal gadget and earphones in order to be able to do the assignments.

All other events must be emailed by March 19 with all the required documents.

Spring Round of RSC starts!

Today the first events of the Spring Round of the Regional Student Convention took place. Students from Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Vladivostok, and Shymkent tried their skills in the Russian dictation and English Spelling contests.

Be reminded that registration for other events is still on and will be closed on March 1.

Dear Participants of the Spring Round of the Regional Student Convention of School of Tomorrow!

This Saturday, February 20, 2021, following first events will take place:

10.00 msk RUSSIAN DICTATION (Junior category)

We wanted to remind you some important procedures:

OPEN

If the students from your school participate in both categories and it takes place at school then you must prepare two classes for both categories.
Each participant must have his or her own seat.
If the participant is going to do one of these events at home then he must make sure there is an internet!
The answer form must be printed out in advance.
You must fill the answer form with a pen (black or blue) or a pencil.
The facility must have a computer and a screen with internet and you must be able to project on the screen.

All the recordings will be uploaded on YouTube in advance. We will send you the link not later than one hour before each broadcast.
If a participant wants to receive the link directly on his email he needs to send his email to nlvladimir@mail.ru before 20.00, February 19, 2021.
The access to the links will automatically open exactly when events start. All participants must be ready to start at a given time. It will be broadcasted ONLY ONCE.
Doing dictation and spelling another day is not allowed!

Guidelines

• If the students of your school are participating in both of the above-mentioned categories and if it takes place at the school then you will need to prepare two different classrooms for each category.

• Each student must have his/her own seat.

• If the participant does dictation or spelling at home then he/she must make sure that their internet connection is good.

• The answer forms will be sent after February 16 to the email addresses that you have submitted in your registration forms.

• The answer forms must be printed out in advance.

• The answer forms must be filled either with a pen (black or blue) or with a pencil.

• The facility must have a computer or TV with internet and with a possibility to project on the screen.

• Before the start of each event we will send you a link for each dictation separately.

• Broadcast should start on time! All participants must be ready to start on time.

• There is no second broadcast, it will be aired only once.

• Doing the dictation or spelling on another day or at a time different from the appointed time is strictly forbidden. We are asking you to take this information into consideration when you • register for these events.

• After the broadcast, the participants will be given no more than ten minutes to check and send their work. Answer forms received after that will be disqualified.

• Email address and phone number will be on the answer forms.

  • I participated in the Fall Round. What is my next step?

    In this case you can automatically participate in the Spring Round, you do not have to pay the participation fee again.

  • I did not participate in the Fall Round. What is my next step?

    In order to participate in the Regional Student Convention you must register through the website rdsc.schooloftomorrow.ru. You will receive a bill. As soon as you pay you become a participant of the Convention.

  • What is the deadline for the payment?

    February 17, 2021.

  • How many nominations can I choose for the Spring Round?

    Six!

  • Where do I send the information about nominations that I have chosen?

    If you participate with your school then you will have to give this info directly to the representative of your school. If you participate individually then please send the information to the following email address. isot.rsc.secretary@gmail.com

  • When is the registration over and when will the participants be added to the system?

    It will be done by March 1, 2021.

  • Are there any exceptions concerning application deadlines?

    Yes, there are! ENGLISH DICTATION and RUSSIAN DICTATION registration deadline is February 15, 2021.

  • Why is it so?

    It is due to ENGLISH DICTATION and RUSSIAN DICTATION taking place on February 20, 2021.

  • What is the deadline for uploading our entries and sending required links?

    The deadline for uploading entries for Spring Round is March 19, 2021.

  • Will there be medals for the Spring Round?

    There definitely will be! Moreover, at the end of the Convention we will choose the Boy and the Girl of the Convention.
